MORE AUTOMATION MEANS FEWER JOBS?

It is estimated that many people
will have their jobs compromised.

The trends indicate three scenarios:
01
Extreme

An extreme scenario that argues that the jobs possitions will disappear completely.

02
Hybrid

A hybrid scenario that argues that we should opt for enhanced intelligence rather than autonomous learning systems.

03
Business

A business scenario that establishes that AI and intelligent systems are just another technological discourse that will justify the elimination of jobs but will also create new ones.

All three scenarios are based on theoretical models of change, but
the first two recognize that there is something in the workplace that is different
of the old industrial linear scale and assembly processes.
Type of Jobs

Many type of jobs are already beginning to disappear

Some examples

Companies that offer services are replacing landscapers and waitresses by robots that perform the task on a programmed basis. Mailmen are being replaced by drones and humanoid robots. Older adults require the assistance of a caregiver who is being replaced by robot pets. Chefs, bartenders and receptionists are being replaced by humanoid robots. Many of the activities performed by doctors, judges and journalists are being efficiently executed by Artificial Intelligence systems. This is just the beginning!
